Americans primarily use what is commonly called Spanish or in some cases English. The simple fact that I move my mouth and make noises... and you know what I mean by those noises means you have the ability to read my mind! Does that make any more sense than people of lesser intelligence, who are offended by language? Being offended by language is a pavlovian reaction at the least... and what can be learned, can be unlearned. If one has control over their mind, they choose what is offensive to them. That being said, I still have the pavlovian reaction (thanks Mom and Dad) to other peoples reaction to what may be offensive... that's right - it's like having "an inside voice", I try to control my output, despite my beliefs, due to respect for others.
